Today I mostly had pains in my chest caused by unknown stuff, but I'm going to go to the doctor about them tomorrow hopefully and see, maybe it's nothing.
Today everyone slowly left school like the drowning ship it was, (quite literally, overnight vandals had moved my school to an offshore oil tanker, which was collapsing under the weight of so many kids). Cafferine had the presence of mind not to go to the derlict only having one lesson herself. Kate, Seb and Jaclyn all evacuated in jaclyns amazing life craft of sliding chair antics. Then Jon, Rhys, and Pixxe all escaped in various modes of transports shortly after the drama hall slid into the sea, lightening the weight of the ship, giving those who stayed behind a precious few more hours. I left early at 2:30 becaus of a chest (for which I am going to the doctors tomorrow) complaint, and swam to the shore. Where upon I was beset upon by ravaging indians (native americans for the pc people). At last count bob and bungle and chantal all haven't been seen since 2:30, and seeing as Laura had to stay till 4:30 she's probably a gonner... we can but hope for there safety...
Tomorrow we are having a new school helicoptered in from jamiaca
I really hate psychology essays, they really do suck. I mean all of my psychology essays so far have been along the lines of, describe studies of x or studies of y. Which is irritating because I have to spend 3 hours writing about stuff I couldn't care about at all, without thinking at all, just reading about studies, writing about studies and trying to find more studies to write about. Erk.
In music news the new Angelica album is fantapulous and gets better with each listen. The same can be said for the new trail of dead album. Hooray for good music. Long may it prosper, especially when it prospers on my CD player
In other music news, I found out that I know two people going to see Kylie Minogue tonight, how cool is that? and one was ashamed to admit it.
Today I did a variety of things including but not limited to fixing cafferines computer to no avail, going shopping with stoobs and jon, going for a drive with jaclyn and essay writing.
I also bought source tags and codes by "and you will know us by the trail of the dead" after giving into lardpony, Conor, and steph and there ravings about how great they are. I have come to the conclusion that I agree... Also I got the new Angelica album "the seven year itch" which isn't really that representive of the album because it took like 3 years to release not 7. Ah well it's good too. Also I got NME, A physics revision guide and a ticket to see hundred reasons. Also I found out that easy world are playing Swansea soon. This is good.
In my opinion of today, does anyone else think that the new style of NME is amazing? It's smaller and more compact, and made of higher quality paper. At first it was turning all smash hits/keeerang stylee, but now I have realised that actually it's still big enough to be considered a paper rather than a magazine. Wooho for NME and it's glorious biased and hypocritical stance
If you haven't looked at the guestbook lately, well then it's pretty much entirely become a debate about why we aren't invisible because atoms (the things we are made up of) are 99.9% empty. So anyway, basically it's all about whether or not light can diffract and if it does diffract or is it because the atoms are all moving fast and stuff. So the point of this is that Bob steps in and writes a huge entry about it all and we all go... My bob you are clever... untill I come across
Bob your secret is out. bwahahahahaha
Right so tomorrow it's going into town time, someone volunteer to come in with me? I think jaclyn said she would but the more the merrier... Kate? you are always in town, and Stoobs you wanted to come to the guitar shop with me. Of course anyone else is welcome. Right so anyway tomorrow I will be mostly purchasing...
I may also go and look at some lovely telecasters... mmmm sweet indie boy rock, and then maybe just maybe get some food.
Well that's dull enough for one day
Yeah so today I am out all evening at the Opera, and I am going out now as well, so this is all you are getting today...
As you can see, I haven't been abducted by German Defense people yet (See post below) but I am sure they will come along some enough. I borrowed a capo of Caff today for which I am very greatful as now I can play Jeff Buckley and Hallejuiah. Hooray.
Today though it was again pointed out in R.S. how often I say the words "right" and "like" when I had to explain this "3" theory of evolution, it was all very umm right, like ahh, right like like like, embarrassing... Like right, um right.
If I disappear completely it's because while testing my trace program I randomly made up an ip address that happened to led to a military defense system in germany.
Today in the post I got a letter offering me lovely credit card goodness, and a free cordless phone. It was all very nice so I scrunched up the letter and put it in the postage paid free return envelope and tomorrow I will send it back to them in the post. Which will be nice because getting post always is nice.
I also said like, right and ummm, a lot in R.S. today but that's only because no-one else in my group was speaking or new stuff and I had to explain wave-particle duality in relationship to natural order and theology. Cafferine seemed to find this hilariously funny though, as did Mr. Gardener.
Tonight, Smallville is on. Hooray
also Kate if you read this can you please lend me the green album or the blue album? only I wish to either buy a trail of the dead album or a weezer one and I don't know which. Thank yee
Good news everybody... I've found out that Hundred Reasons play Swansea on a day that doesn't clash with my exams. Huzzah. Also I just go this which made me laugh
tommorow is national attraction day (no joke!) Everyone has a crush, even if they wont admit it...send this to ten people on your buddy list within the next half hour and youll find out whose attracted to you..and maybe let that special someone know u have your eye on them! JUST COPY AND PASTE IT
Of useless things I get sent over msn, that's pretty high up... almost as good as my btcellnet text that told me about "EXCITING TIMES!!!" because they are changing their name from btcellnet to "02!!!!" and it's going to great for "ALL OF US!!!". I mock them bwhahahaha
The great debate rages, well not rages really, instead sorta stands still and does nothing in the post below... it's short so read it and contribute
Anyho's I just watched an old school episode of The X-files. Now the X-files used to be great with mulder and scully and stuff but now it's all snoozeville. But anyway, in it Mulder and Scully are trapped in an apartment block, in a hurricaine with a water monster hunting them down. In it there's this couple, one super dominating woman, and one super under the thumb man, so anyway, some redneck gun freak says to the under the thumb guy "Oh yeah, well it'll come out of the piping and grab you and take you by the nads" and mulder says "too late" in his really dry way and the dominating woman give him the evilest look ever. It's brilliant.
Also I just downloaded Gomez doing 78 stone wobble live at the madia vale gig I went to and at the start you can hear me cheering. I sound like such a fool. I blame radio 1 for sticking a mike right in my face.
Blog blog blog...
The Coral and The Music... I'm sooo there... It's right in the middle of the lull of my exams too. Should be a good gig and will keep up my record of 1 decent gig a month.
In other alarming news, Seb passed his driving test. Kudos to him, and all *salutes seb*, but the real question is... "how many times will seb have to go out of his way to give kate a lift in the next 7 days?" Place your bets please.. I'm going to start with a nice round 8
I just got back from a pub quiz (32 out of 50, not too bad). The highlight of the evening was driving over the common with jaclyn and running into a herd of cows... it went something like this...
Jon:"turn right at the end of the road"
Mark:"yeah, hey wait what's that"
Jaclyn:"woooh loadsa cows"
Cow:"Moooooooooo"
Mark:"Cool"
They surrounded us but then we escaped leaving us to head of on another mystery adventure. Hooray
Today loads and loads and loads of stuff happened. I will summarise it all very quickly though
And really that was it... the only bad thing? I missed Eastenders...
lalalala... Today I had an exam and lots of stuff happened, and I listened to idlewild... and Kate and Caff and Laura, left me all alone in the block with only the vaguest of hints about where they were going and I think they've been eaten by giant sharks now, maybe next time they'll at least tell me where they are going so I can send a lifeboat...
today I did some scanning... yay for cartoons
first it's pixxe
then it's Me as a giraffe
and lastly it's the bestest and coolest guitars ever... (only 350 pounds too)
Today me and Jaclyn went driving with many exciting escapades... she shall be applauded as a very good driver... *applauds*. In other news Mr. Burden (my physics teacher) is a super hero. I spent ages looking for him when he was free only for him to turn up all flustered and carry what looks like a defused bomb. I think he saves the world in between lessons although I could be wrong.
Today I mostly watched Teachers, which was greatly groovely great, and has the best music ever in a show. If only all real teachers where like that. But then there would be no teachers off defusing bombs and saving the world. This would make me sad.
OOhh and Xafi.net is online as if fantasically great
Also Caff made a brief return to the internet today... which is nice. Still no sign of Stoobs or Wooles though
This post is dedicated to the following people...
So anyway today not much happened apart from a mildy amusing moment in physics which I shall recount...
well that was all really
In other news my chair only has two legs and I keep on falling off it
In other news I've mentally figured out how to make my site sooper optimisable.. so i can change it on a whim... so hence for this is version 7.0 (beta)
hey everybody in webland, or as I like to call it Web bland. except it's not bland at all, (go look at E-boy and Bee for proof). So yeah tonight I had a meeting at the sketty youth project which was fun and stuff and we are almost ready. PS-2 as well. Which is groovery yeah...
I can't think of much today sorry so I'm going to write a story about my coursework
Unfortunately all characters in the venue are entirely made up. sob
Yesterday much to my dissapointment, I didn't get a free guitar, finish my essays, or save the world even slightly. I did however just eat chicken cassarolle for breakfast though, seeing as I got up at 12:30... mmmm lie-in-tastic
So The Cooper Temple Clause last night? well they where mighty fine, as per normal, but I'll start at the start...
Got to Cardiff a bit late, drove past the Cardiff football ground, they looked happy (as opposed to us Swansea people 7-1??!??). Got to the gig really early, but we have our pride. Had many amusing hilarities. Saw Sahara Hotnights (got a really short cd free) and Halo, (super energeticness throw themselves round the stage. The Cooper Temple Clause were, as always, truely superbly amazing with their loud noisy-ness and brilliance and energy and being very hyper. And then the power goes half way through "been training dogs" so didz and dan decide to have a sing-a-long in the dark on the acoustic guitar... and the power goes back on and TCTC finish in alarming amounts of style throwing stuff around and whatever.
I got a setlist (one of each band actually). and a poster, and various flyer type things. And then at the aftershow we went and met various people... and spoke to kieron for ages and found out that he "would shag britney spears, fact" and also found out that my setlist "is more rock and roll thatn the other setlist, no disrespect to the other guy" from Tom. Aren't they sweet
Then I got chips and got confused for a mirror by a guy taller than me, asian and wearing trendy gear.
It's not too interesting I know but I thought I best right it out
Hmmmm what to say today...
I could moan about Buffy some more. But that's more a Thursday thing. So I instead I will write about my exciting day
After completing my essay (which of course will be A* work) I will then head off into town to meet up with the short and beautiful, or possibly beautifully short Kate, whereupon we shall head of and buy a lovely new high E string for my guitar. After purchasing said string, I imagine that speed music will give me that nice telecaster they have on their wall for free, which I will of course accept. Pausing only momentarily to save the world we'll then head off down to the hair dressers to laugh at the also beautiful but not quite as short, Cafferine. After finishing our hearty laughing at her wonderful new slightly shorter, and improved hair. I will then depart to save the world/see the Cooper Temple Clause in Cardiff.
I may or may not then proceed to cleanse Cardiff of all criminal activities, this depends on cloud cover and any small animals I encounter.
I shall then meet up with my (and I'm frantically searching for adjectives other than beautiful here) tremendous friend Rich, and his friend who I don't know yet so find very hard to describe accurately. Once met up we'll then head off to the gig, stand around for a bit, Collect our free promo CDs as we are the first few in. Then I imagine we'll be the toast of the crowd with our amazing antics, and finally upon seeing a most excellent gig we will head to the aftershow party where the Cooper Temple Clause perform hilarious stunts, and shall pat them heartedly on the back.
Then I will head home very late, perhaps saving the world again, depending on whether or not it needs it.
First of all a quick Pyjamas update. Today I changed out of my pyjamas right before going downstairs to eat breakfast (museli today), as a consequence of this I am currently procrastinating. Lots. My theory is that pyjamas lead to a lack of procrastination.
Anyway while trying to think of two main characteristics of Anorexia Nervosa, I perchanced to listen to Miss Jo Whiley on Radio 1. Who perchanced to have A live on the show with her. And they played a lovely acoustic rendition of Starbucks (their new single which does sound fantapulous). Anyway, as they finished, the guitarist for some bizarre reason broke into a hearty rendition of this...
*du-du-du-de-du-duh-duh-duh-duh*
Unfortuantely the medium of the Web isn't that good to render hummed music, but that was "The Trooper" by Iron Maiden
yes live on Radio 1 at about 11:00 today the guitarist from A played part of the trooper by Iron Maiden
t'was funny
So that Buffy eh... yes as it's thursday it's time for me and Mike to watch Buffy and moan about how whiney Dawn is. So the new episodes of Buffy can be divided up into the following time amounts.
25% is Dawn whining constantly about everything and looking moody
25% is about some deep emotional issue about absolutely nothing at all whatsoever
20% is Spike and Buffy having sex
20% is Anya and Xander talking about there marriage
5% is witty comments
5% is demon killing
IT'S DULL.
like this entry really, I'm outta here...
Today I decided that I would eat breakfast in my pyjamas. Normally you see I eat it while clothed for the day, but today I decided that I would do things differently. So I ate my breakfast then put my clothes on. However in an even further escape from the normal everyday reality I decided I would read my bible and pray Before getting out of my pyjamas!
However all good things must come to an end at some point so I relucantly went down and found my amazing burgundy trousers which where sitting on top of the freezer, not doing much except looking cool. Which is easy to do on top of a freezer.
Anyway I digress from my original point, which while never actually stated was building up to this...
I'm wearing my cool 70's eric forman style shirt. It's quite funky.
Now I have to start on my lovely long psychology essay.
Mmm my parents have bought the WRONG SORT OF SPREAD. you know margarine stuff, they've got Lurpak, which while tasting delicious is impossible to spread, seriously my peanut butter sandwich is a mess, with bits of butter and peanutty goodness sticking out everywhere. I would scan it in but I think that sandwichs don't scan well...
---
hmmm I've finished my sandwich now, and as nice as it was it well, it did go everywhere including on my mouse. Oh well my guitar needs restringing now as I have cleaned it to it's former glory...
---
ooh Conor from (soon to be) legendary rock band Kinesis commented on my last post, which was nice of him.
---
in other news Boldness continues but unfortunately without underlineness and italicness
Apparently comments show people you care...
I've had one in the last two posts, I believe this is because my log entrys are too long and rambling and contain too many long words. Or maybe it's because I feel obliged to write about my day and end up drowning all witty comments beneath a sea of mediocre "today I washed my feet and went round Jaclyns house to become even more amazingly good at GameBoy BomberMan". Or it could be that I'm just un cool, but then I've always been uncool, so that should affect it.
I suppose I could blame my auidence I mean, I'm clearly an amazingly talented webdesigner/writer/general philophical guru, so it's clearly the fault of all you plebs out not taking the time or effort to read my deep thoughts and get into the true meaning of them. Except that that makes even less sense.
So inconclusion I'm going to get myself a gimick... Maybe a pet monkey to help me write my logs, Or even better have guest spots from famous people, Or I could get superpowers somehow. While I'm at it I'm am going to undergo a MILLION DOLLAR branding/remarketing schedule, including appearing on CD:UK, Top of The Pops, whatever it is that has replaced the big breakfast and also some crummy local radio stations. I'm going to cut my hair, start wearing more suits (made by my own clothing company) and I'm going to invent some catchphrases which I can claim copyright of and place on billboards everywhere.
Or I'm not, I like writing in my logs, regardless of who reads them. I mean enough people do to make it worth while, and even if no one does, It's FUN
Also I'm going to boldify, italicise and underline random words to make an artistic statement
oh yeah today I went to Cardiff, realised how expensive our buses are, mimed to the matrix, played a really nice fender strat and saw my two good friends alan and ellie
So today I went to Church, found out Seb had fooled me into thinking Carolyn and Mike where engaged, and then decided to take apart my guitar, to clean and restring it all. But I need some lemonseed oil apparently to finish off the fretboard properly. But it's annoying coz untill I do I can't play it GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Right but yeah this pub quiz right basically it was a lot harder than last week. I mean a lot harder. I mean some of the questions where demonic and all. But basically, my team (well techincally pixxe's team but who cares) with me, pixxe, jaclyn, penny and wooles LOST by 2 points to Rhys, Jon, Stoobs and Rhys friend (I really should remember her name this time round). It was mainly because we misheard one question (okay I heard it right really) and because we suck at pub quizes it seems. Still I'm on Rhys team next week, he seems to win a lot... bahaha. Plus Caff promised she would come next week, so that's another intelligent(??) person to help my team.
So so far in the pub quizzes scale of things... Rhys seems to be winning.... I will catch up
Also I went in a playground and found I still rock at those things... yeah
Tomorrow I will be in Cardiff for most of the day attending a 70's evening thingy, so it's a 70's shirt hunting for me tomorrow.
if you are bored go read Everfelt and hear about his news of the world experiences... which are more fun than anything I wrote.
Anyway I'm on a train lots tomorrow so I will undoubtly think of stuff to write on it as you do on trains
Right so brace yourselves kiddies for I feel today could be a long post.
today I went to bristol for a Soul Survivor training day for the Noise. The Noise is this thingy where people go out and do servicey type things (wash cars, paint, clean, and stuff) just because that's the sort of things we should do as Christians. And in conclusion it's really kinda groovey and I'm looking forward to it now (May bank holiday weekend).
I microwaved an apple tartlet when I got home to heat it up and I burnt it too appley goo
Right yeah so in the evening after the training, Some McDonalds eating (I shouldn't have as McDonalds is evil and I should start boycotting it soon) and some travellator antics including security antics, there was an evening celebration thing in which I encountered some people I haven't seen in ages. (DOUG) Yeah but like every Soul Survivor event there are always girls who sing really highly and really like well angelically, but it's soo high you wonder.. how do they get so high? also the lead worshipper dude (tim hughes) had the sweetest telecaster ever, and the lead guitarist dude had a really nice gibson.
Carolyn and Mike eh? eh? is He going to do the ceremony?
Also today on the car ride back I looked at the stars and thought (here comes the philosphical bit everyone) that well they took thousands of years to become like that. They like explode and stuff causing bright light but that light lasts for ageeeeees. So getting to my deep point. Why rush things? I mean don't let things drag out and stuff, and make the most of your chances. Hmmm okay maybe I'm getting things all explained wrong. I think what I am trying to say is that there is a time for dating and time for marriage and a time for being single. Yeah that's it.
In society these days we are forced into the whole "you must date and you must date now" thing and everyone's like if you are single then their is something wrong with you. Yet generally the people saying this are all unhappy in their relationships. If you are single enjoy it (I don't mean go and go with random people in clubs), go out and have fun and don't worry that your girlfriend or boyfriend wants you home. Go out with your friends and when they are all like "ooh I have to go home to call my boyfriend/I have to go meet my girlfriend/I have to go round my shnuckumbunnies house" just laugh evily and wave goodbye to them and carry on having fun.
Not to like insult dating, but it's over rated. If you are single be content with it, if you are dating be content with that. And if you are engaged or married then be super content.
It's no point getting upset about nothing, then getting something and realising nothing was actually a lot of fun
peace and love and all
this evening after all the fun of the fair me and my new found friend Bee made a plan to take over the world via the means of the web. It's a good idea and it'll be fun even if it fails, but unfortunately I can't tell you. Ah well. But we are having fun discussing every little detail of it.
soon I maybe going to bristol I dunno. (insert msn :S wavy face emoticon here)
So anyway isn't it great when you add people to msn for the first time and you talk for ages? it's all really cool and stuff. Coz the worst thing about msn is when you get your wires all crossed and you can't judge mood but when you first add someone you are all friendly with them because well you just added them and wanna make a good impression as do you, so everything flows and fun is had.
I like it.
I need a 70's shirt
The new Chemical Brothers with Richard Ashcroft single is amazing I can't get it out of my head it's sooo brilliantly trippy and amazing it goes on my list of records to listen to late at night travelling past port talbot.
Dad (or mum or brother or anyone really) if you read this before 9:00am today... WAKE ME UP. thanks
turns out I am going to bristol after all
I have finally done it and completed my work of art/website. It's fun to try to figure out how to work it, so do so.
In other news I went to the fair which was great fun although I am now covered in bruises
Also I worked out that the reason fairs are more fun at night is that you can't see all the rust and the missing bolts and how tacky it all is. But there we go, it was a good laugh especially ramming people on the 'dodge'ems, and having a fight with tim in the crazy house
In OTHER news I maybe going to bristol tomorrow, I am going to Cardiff on Monday and Caff has expressed her opinion that "some women have really hot asses" this isn't quite as bad as my "sticking spring rolls in interesting sauces/places" but still. I'm trying to make up for lost groudn
