Bbrrrr, woke up this morning to an incredible sight… as I looked out the kitchen window to the garden all I could see was topped with WHITE stuff!! YIPPEEE! :D No, its not snow yet :( but just super heavy frost! Wehey… bring on the snow! Its so beautiful though, with all the rooftops, and hedge tops, and fence tops, and bin tops covered in white… quite Christmasy really! Actually, last night as I got home everything was covered in little sparkly ice-crystals. It was truly magical!
Anyway, I was gonna tell you some things that made me laugh yesterday …
A: running/slipping along ice-covered pavements to catch the bus (which I missed in the end-not unusual!)
B: a couple walking down the street holding hands, but wearing a pair of BRIGHT orange mittens between them, on their spare hands!
C: a man struggling to cross the road quickly in town with way too many HUGE shopping bags (haven't seen such big bags EVER before… mind you I did come from the back of beyond I s'pose!)
D: catching a bus to college, then getting exactly the same one away from college - same driver (with blue sunglasses?!), same seat, same crisp packet tucked beside the seat! Spooky!
Arggh, their not very funny now I write them but they were funny at the time… as these things always are!
