Small Kid: My hamster died!
Moi: awh really? I'm sorry to here that
Small Kid: Yeah
Moi: What was he called?
Small Kid: Hammy (okay so I can't remember his real name)
Moi: Oh, you going to get another one?
Small Kid: Maybe
pause
Small Kid: My hamster was stabbed in the gut with a knife.
Moi: Oh

hamsters never die peacefully in their sleep. my dog ate mine and my best friend's tried to leave the room so she slammed the door to stop it but it got between thhe door and the wall, splat!

My hamster died in the night. It was very amusing whilst it was alive, I used to blow it to make it fall over
