This nickname was given to me one (probably) sunny day when I was about 16. My dear (strange) friend Dennis first called me it… not so sure where he got it from, most likely the dictionary, or book of weird un-heard of animals. He thought it meant sea cow! But as my dear (marine biology student) friend Alasdair pointed out, these weird creatures are actually called 'Stellar' manatees. So that's the story of my name… I kinda wish I hadn't told everyone now, coz I'm nothing like a sea cow REALLY! Except that I do like the sea, the beach, the waves and most of all the sun!
And as for my design work on posters all over Birmingham… well, I really don't know how THAT happened, I must have been bribed or something… oh but there's no money, hmmm…. John…?
