i second that... get over it Sparky! :)
i just use ie cos its the one on my desktop. i just type the stuff in and away it goes. what more do u want
what do you mean nerd>???? i keel you
u aint nerdier than me!! i am the ultimate in nerds.
reasons you should use internet explorer and none of the other weird browsers:
1) the other ones are weird
2) IE is there already, waiting for your tender caress
3) netscape invented war
4) opera is named after opera.
5)ie is part of your operating system and if un-installed will cause your computer to die in a horrible way.
I also had a customer earlier who said the broadband installer told her to un-install ie... Hmmm
So mark doesn't like aol he doesn't like IE so what do u use then mark? some homemade thingy or a secret one that noones apart from u has ever heard of?
Pixxe: See Point 4
Seb: Bahahaa... I can imagine the instructions.
Step one: insert Cd
Step two: go to Start->Control panel->Add/Remove Programs.
Step three: find and click on iexplore
Step four: click remove
Step five: Enjoy Broadband
this post inspired me to download ie 6. things strangely look different in ie 6 than in ie 5.5 ..... i want 5.5 back!!!
You'll get over it. It's better than 5.5, but it's still not as good as Opera. Download Opera! Go on, I dares you...
Unless u have win 98. In which cause your fcukd! Since win 98 and ie 6.0 have severe problems :S
6. It doesn't work with it's own software
Please udno point 6..... I have win 98 and ie6, and it only crashes as much as it did before I installed ie6, in other words its because of windows. Don't diss ie and microsoft so much mark without installing linux!
I'll diss IE as much as I want!
Windows is by Microsoft, so saying that windows crashes alot, your dissing microsoft yourself. Plus, win98 is fine is you have the second version of it.
...or buy a mac...
Win 98 + ME are the most shite of all o.s 's. Xcept for people who try use linux but dont understand nething about it all and therefore just look at the desktop and think 'ohhh'. *certain person who signs this website cough*
Its like one big battle to get nething to work on linux. As for win 98 and ME (millenium) dont even bother with nething usb, it will never work. Another good one is illeagal ops on win 98 and ME. Aint seen XP or 2000 do that. (as of yet)
Plus ME won't upgrade to XP properly.
I want to try linux just to see if I like it. It's too much effort splitting a harddrive and running multiple OS's. Especially if I end up not liking linux
The worst is the 95 upgrade to 98 as it needs to have the binding between TCP/IP and NetBious....Dont even go there
Oh dear, I remember doing that, man that sucked. I'm so glad that 95's dead now. Hooray!
i've spent the last 72 hours trying to fix my computer after ie6 messed it up completely. mind you, my os is ME so that explains a lot. at the moment i'm feeling very anti-microsoft >
hey? my ie6 has this weird problem. about every 4th time i right click a link, usually to open in new window, a new window opens, often as not a window i opened much earlier, but also as a new instance of ie6 ? like i look at task manager and i might have three or four instances of ie6 working at one time? each one using 15mb of ram? it sucks? anybody know how to fix this?
umm, try updating everything relating to windows xp via the tools->windows update thing in explorer. A service pack came out around jan/feb so that may solve it.
