Apparently in the usa, some crazy people, are trying to pass a crazy law. The law's designed to instill patriotic values to young Americans, by insuring that all history books and lessons create "an overall tone that portrays the United States as a country that has overcome its mistakes and emerged as the freest, most democratic nation in the history of the world."
It'd be like 1984 all over again, if 1984 ever happened in the first place

Mt's brilliant, although it can be a bit geeky to install properly... It's not too bad if apache's got all the modules it needs, but if not it can get a bit nightmarish

sparticus

I just realised I meant Perl's got all the modules it needs. Not apache. I am a geek. Honest

Seboo

Are you talking about Perl Servers, or am I off. And you aint a real geek unless you can describe all about DNS, Proxy, and Routers (H)

zoe

sorry to interrupt your geeky conversation, but that is a crazy, crazy idea for a law.

Seb's just jealous that I know about real geek stuff, like perl modules on apache servers for movable type. Yeah babyee...
That said, and as Zoe said, that news story is still crazy...

Sebooo

That is pretty nerdy. Still you didnt know about DNS and Proxy. Il stick to what i know and u stick to urs.

The only sensible way to deal with this matter is to kneel down in the middle of the road by Victoria Park and to say your prayers.
