how do i get rid of a virtus which is in my system volume information and all that restore stuff. its very annoying. i reckon i have to format the hard drive :(
If I format this computer and re-install xp I have to call up to request a new product activation number and all this stuff.
Oh and apparently you have to get a new number if you upgrade your motherboard.
And all you cracked software and porn will be forwarded to Microsoft.

MAC? Not really worth it unless ur designing graphics....linux? Mehhh red hat seems a good bet! And stoobs I would like to bring about the point that formatting a p.c. doesnt always remove virus's
hows about kicking it up the ass?
Worth a try

I find that a good anti-virus application regularly updated with the latest pattern files tends to do the trick nicely.
