I'm assumin that thats sum kinda private joke that no one except mark n helen are gonna get??
ok, the story goes that Sparky was teaching me what all the notes are on each string. He was like "E - Em - F...Gm - then what comes next?" and I said, "H!" so thats kinda where the joke comes from and the A cord is now my magic H cord!
*cough* you mean E, F, F#, G, G#*cough*
Deary deary me
hahaha
the worst thing is, she's better than me.
ok....i think u had to be there.
actually i think F Diminished 7th is the best chord. especially on an old acoustic. has a nice cheery tone to it, and uses all the strings!!!
hey gimme a break, I haven't even had the guitar a week! (but i can almost play 'the times they are a changin' (bob dylan rocks!!)
Nah you're wrong, the best chord is obviously G. Just because it's so G like. Everyone likes G!
That said, I feel that G#/Ab9 (possibly properly known by some other name)is a pretty excellent Chord.
Ab9 with a G# in the bass is also know as G#9
why play chords, when you can play solos
Well i think someones been spendin too much time with ian.
actually the best chord in the world is F major 7th.
and in some european countries they replace the note B with H, I have no idea why.
nah, the best chord ever is the E-something that goes (from the top string) 0,0,9,9,7,0. best played loud.
There are no best chords there are just different chords. You've offended some of them sayin others are better. I mean honestly. Hav some respect people.
There are best chords! I like Fmaj7 but not as much as I like Dm7, which comes in just after standard Dm which is of course number 2 in my list of all time favourite chords. This E that steph speaks of sounds fun, but not as good as the equivilant drop D version of that chord. Also play a standard D in drop D tuning but play the two bottom strings open. Mondo excellent.
Some people hav too much time.
actually, that's just a power chord steph. you must mute the open strings and thrash your guitar for maximum sound.
