Next door to the lovely offices of CYM is a hair dressers. It's a posh hair dressers though, I think it calls itself a salon rather than a hair dresser, and is named after some people with vaguely french sounding names, as opposed to being called "Kwik Cuts" or something.
Anyway, every Tuesday they use the downstairs part of our offices to do training with these apprentice hair dressers, which always strikes me as a bit odd. I mean I can understand hair dressers needing training, but why they spend five hours a week writing notes while someone lectures them is beyond me. I mean what do they learn? One of the guys (and yes, they have guys learning to be hair dressers) learning had one of those big lever arche files full of notes, I mean he had more notes than I took for my entire physics a-level. It's bizarre. One day I'm going to go down their and ask them exactly what it is they learn about. And try to blag a free hair cut.

In other news. REM are releasing the best of the warner brother years, which has lots of good stuff on and well worth purchasing (but it doesn't have "Be Mine" on, which is WRONG)
I'm also going to make myself a t-shirt that says "in heaven, all guitars will be telecasters", just because I can.

Right Now
