Seeing how popular Christian chat up lines are, I feel I need to help fill this market. In future posts I shall be exploring the dynamics of how the chat up a Christian woman (Covering such topics as 'when is it right to tell her God told me in a vision we'd get married?' and 'What do I do if it turns out she's not a premillennialist?'). As for now all I recommend is that you read Single Women: Challenge to the Church? which while being about how single women shouldn't be stigmatised in church, because of the topic manages to be the most comprehensive treatment of single Christian women ever.

I haven't heard such great things about that book, though I've seen it for sale. Why is it so great?

Matthew

Oh, and *not* a premillenialist? Surely you don't ascribe to that viewpoint? :)

Sparticus

I don't, which is why it's that way around, to distance myself from the person asking those questions. It's a good book, though not particularly revolutionary. It's sold as being very feminist, which it Isn't.

Hey, it's your thousandth post! Congratulations. Here's to another thousand! (Or at least 500)

your "Christian chat-up lines" link is dud.

ook...... right i got thoroughly confused with the premillennialist bit but a book for single christian women seems kinda depressing. eeesh.

Sparticus

In fairness, it's not a book for single women, but for leaders in churches. I suppose if a single woman wants to sit on her own drinking hot chocolate, stroking her cat and reading that book then fair enough. Hehe.
