Fahrenheit 9/11 Points Sheet

As you all know, the new Michael Moore film Fahrenheit 9/11 is out soon (although no-one knows when because of various publishers). Now Michael Moore is probably best known for repeating the same 'Bush sucks' argument over and over again in amusing yet predictable ways. With this in mind, I present...

The Fahrenheit 9/11 Points Sheet

Print this out and take it with you to the cinema. Points are as below.

Get a point each time one of the below happens

  1. Michael Moore proves something conclusively, although you're not sure how it's in anyway conclusive.
  2. Michael Moore dresses like a scruff and acts like an arse when he tries to get into somewhere glamourous/talks to someone famous and then uses the footage of the staff at the place/famous person being really narked off at him as proof that he is right.
  3. Michael Moore running through a short history of Bush's/Bush snr's career which proves he's incompetent for the job of being most powerful man in the world.
  4. Interviews with people who should be against Michael Moore and his political position (soldiers, texans, gun toting right wing hunters) who instead of slagging him off say stuff to support his argument.
  5. Lots of open questions designed to 'make you think' that actually just leave you confused. Eg. 'Did Bush know about it all along?' 'I don't know Michael, did he? What evidence do you have? What do you know we don't? Can you tell us? Please?'
  6. Michael Moore talking about himself/his work in rather arrogant terms.
  7. Michael Moore does something 'hilarious' that would be more suited to Jackass in an attempt to get over the truth (eg Michael Moore throws a pie coloured with red colouring into the face of a senator to 'represent all the spilling of innocent blood he has caused').
  8. 'Ironicly' jolly music accompanying footage of war

Loose a point every time one of the following happens

  1. Michael Moore admits that just occasionally the Republicans can't be blamed for something going wrong.
  2. Michael Moore offers helpful advice, 'What I would do instead is...' (via my dad)

More suggestions welcome please. First written up on the kinesis message board.

Good but let me add a ninth. Michael Moore will never ever allow himself to say 'What I would do instead is....'
The man is pure criticism.
Which is not to defend either guns or George W Bush of course .

Sparticus

No, I'd agree there, by saying Michael Moore repeats himself, makes up facts and never offers alternatives I'm not saying 'Bush on the other hand, is great'. I think it's an acceptable political position to think they are both morons.

This is your Quality Assurance Officer informing you that you made a spelling mistake...

David

mark ALWAYS makes mistakes.

i was hoping you were going to write a huge piece on why moore is lying. those things are always funny.

Mr.Moony

Who the fedge is michael moore ?

Sparticus

I could write about what Michael Moore is lying about, but everyone does that these days. There are three websites devoted to it. THREE!
For reference, here's lovely picture of Michael Moore.
Michael Moore goes to the Oscars

Mr.Moony

3 is hardly any. Type and Michael Moore Porn and you get 70+ links.

David

search for britney spears porn. the links are better.

go back to the 'insert elf joke here' post mark, and explain yourself!

Sparticus

It was about legs... legs and elves, famous elf... oh gee.

David

link from legend of zelda?

Sparticus

Oh dear no. Think famous elf from a film. FILM!

David

legolas mark? that's just silly.

Sparticus

Hooray! Yes, I know it was, but I was stuck for a title. So you know. I apologise. But at least I didn't try to make a joke out of it.

David

but you asked someone else to make a joke, and as you knew it wasn't funny, you were basically paving the way for someone to make an awful joke, thus leading them to become a social outcast sending their life on a downward spiral! you are evil.

Sparticus

Foiled. Still, there is always the hidden nuclear powered laser shark cannon-dorf bomb thing.
Yeah.

David

i believe mattel aready claimed the patent on that one

Sparticus

Even the zelda reference (I'm good)??
