Here's a tip for all you budding web developers. When you go live with a site that runs off a database, make sure you clear the database of all the made up entries you used to test the thing. While filling the details in for October's Halloween related event with lyrics from Iron Maiden songs maybe fun, your line manager may be slightly curious as to why the event is called 'Bring your daughter to the slaughter' and what exactly 'Selling them whiskey and taking their gold
Enslaving the young and destroying the old' has got to do with anything.

Your life is one big comedy Mark... that's what makes it so fun to keep up with. Keep it up!
Bruce Dickinson and Joe Elliott (Def Leppard) both live sort of at the top of my mum and dad's road (but not together, obviously - that would be high-pitched hair-metal alchemy of the most terrifyingly high order). Both local Sheffield boys, through and through. Um, except that now they live in houses big enough for several KINGS, so kind of cheating on your roots there guys.
What a very metal neigbourhood I was brought (dragged?) up in. Oh, and I seem to recall there being a high concentration of rich grannies, too.
Yeah! Maiden Lyrics. Dont forgot the mike classic 'you touch my sandwich and il run you through'

Getting around this website can be a tad confusing. If you're looking to explore the better stuff of what I've written then this navigation should help you. If you're after a specific post then searching or looking through the archives chronologically may help.
This site tries its best to be accessible for everyone. Atom, and RSS feeds are available. All content licensed through a creative commons licence. I may have stolen ideas off you when you weren't looking, but it was almost certainly an accident. As with all claims of originality and ownership Psalm 24 v1 applies.

You obviously have more imagination than I do. My clients just ask why the events diary is full of interesting things like 'adfsg' and 'lkjh'...
