Why?

The oddest thing just occured. Over my house flew five flights of planes. Each flight consisted of three aircraft; two fighters flying either side of a passenger plane with each flight flying over at one minute intervals at a height of a few hundred metres. Each flight was identical in every way, so much so that when the fourth and fifth flight flew over I felt twinges of deja-vu.

The only thing reason I can think of is that they were training on how to escort hijacked planes, but that seems a bit odd since they were so low in the sky. How odd.

So THIS is where terrorists find out about stuff like that... Good ol' internet eh...

Mark, you're too scary to email - so in case you get angry with me; was wondering if you could help me with something...

Got a new(ish) computer, and the silly keyboard won't show a pound sign (and following the USD conversion rates has become rather addictive), and it's decided to switch a few other keys round, if that makes sense (i.e. @ and "...)

Now I know the abomination I'm typing this on isn't a mac, and so you may simply be too disgusted with it to help, but I always thought you were here to heal the sick, not the healthy... Or was that someone else?

*realises how much more annoying 'junk' posts might be than junk email*

You've got your keyboard setup all american. Go into control panel and find the regional language setting thing. You'll probably have to change the keyboard over to uk english, make that the default and then delete the american setup to make sure, but I could be wrong. It's a long time since I used those devil machines.
