It's the Brit Awards! A night of showbiz parties, record label backslapping and general pop merriment. It would also be a night of good TV watching except that for some bizarre reason they broadcast the ceremony tomorrow night, so everyone watches it knowing exactly who's going to win. It kinda takes the fun out of it. Anyway, for those of you eventually watching along at home, here's a possible scoring system for some sort of bingo type game that you can make the rules up for. Enjoy!

  • Coldplay play a song involving a piano. Chris Martin has something enigmatic written on his hand (2 points). Bonus points, Chris Martin has something enigmatic written on his face (+1 point).
  • Someone comes on stage to present an award who has obviously been dared by their mates to see how long they can not speak for after saying "and the award goes to...". (3 points). Bonus points, they crack after 2 seconds and blurt it out far too hastily (+1 point).
  • The host introduces a band in a really roundabout way. "They're big in Austria, but probably because they keep on getting mistaken for a chain of roadside restaurants, it's THE KAISER CHIEFS" (4 points)
  • Kayne West makes a politically charged comment that makes the shows organisers feel slightly nervous (1 point). Bonus points, Kayne West makes a politically charged comment that includes the expression "Black People"
  • Chris Evans makes a ginger joke (0 points). Bonus points, Chris Evans makes a Dr. Who/Ex-Wife/Billie Piper joke and attempts to cover up the silence following it with another Dr. Who/Ex-Wife/Billie Piper joke which again falls flat on it's face (3 points).
  • You turn off the TV halfway through because you already know who won (0 points).
